May 31st, 2012

Dear Members,
Welcome to the lazy days of summertime vacations, our occupancy somewhat lower during May 2012 ranging 80-85% and expected to continue throughout June.

AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM: To our arriving June guests, please be informed that we are currently experiencing some major challenges with our air conditioning system. Be assured that we are doing our utmost to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. However we are having difficulty finding the defective parts locally and therefore it may be necessary to have them shipped in from abroad in order to have the cooling system operating optimal. Meanwhile temporary repairs have been made and holding.

MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT: Taking advantage of the lower occupancy to continue with the 2nd Floor balcony retiling project, as well as other regular and/or urgent maintenance issues. Some noise due to drilling, etc. can be felt in units and other areas close by to site of work.

Please take good note of The Board of Director’s New Policy regarding extensive room maintenance and repairs: “Any room that is still vacant on a Tuesday morning of each week, whether it is in the Rental Program or not, will be subject to and made available for any major room maintenance and repair work”. The Board of Directors realizes that from time to time this Policy may cause some confusion and perhaps some extra work for the Front Desk and Club’s Rental office, should the Club need to relocate someone. However, it is the only reasonable solution in order for Maintenance to get the necessary repairs and maintenance done in our rooms. In case of emergency repairs members/guests may be requested by Management to room change at any time throughout your stay. Thank you for your kind cooperation and understanding.

NEW FLAT SCREEN TV”S have arrived for all units that do not already have the flat screen TV’s. So by the end of June, all units will have flat screen TV’s.

SECURITY AND SAFETY: We are again finding items stashed by guests in the ceilings of rooms which creating possible HAZARD. DO NOT STORE PERSONAL ITEMS OF ANY KIND IN THE CEILING OF YOUR UNIT. Any items found will be confiscated and destroyed. Should you have any personal items that you need to store from one visit till your next, off premises storage company is available. Please ask at the Front Desk for details.

RESERVATIONS REMINDERS: Please adhere to the Members Notification & Confirmation Procedure for Private Rental/Guests of Room published on Club’s website. Rental Program and Member-Guest Authorization forms are available on the Rentals and Exchanges page of Club’s website.

SPACEBANK DEPOSITS WITH EXCHANGE COMPANIES: Please be reminded, Members are required to PRE-PAY the Club Dues/Maintenance Fees on the corresponding wk/unit/year prior to contacting the Exchange Company with a spacebank deposit. Your deposit will be returned if prepayment has not been received/recorded on your account by ABC. Check your Club Dues Statement “begins” date that indicates the wk/unit/yr billed.

CLUB DUES: Statements will be mailed in July with due date October 31, 2012 for next Fiscal Year 2012/2013, covering weeks 44 through 52 of 2012 and weeks 1 through 43 of 2013:
