Forum rules

Please note:
To allow interested parties to effectively search for your listing please follow these rules:
When listing a rental, enter ONLY the week number, year and room type in the Subject line.
Example: "Week 20 2013 studio and days if a partial week". Do not use abbreviations, use the full word for "Week" and "room type" and use digits for the week number and year. Do not list the room number in the subject and do not use the words "for rent", everything here is for rent. It is to your advantage to follow these rules.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, POSTINGS NOT FOLLOWING THESE RULES WILL BE EDITED OR REMOVED.

A few people have asked why their rental postings disappear shortly after being posted.

There is a set of rules in the yellow box just above the area where you type your posting. It explains what information should be entered in the Subject of the posting.

In short, the only thing in the Subject should be the Week Number, Year Available and the Room Type. DO NOT INCLUDE THE ROOM NUMBER OR THE WORDS "FOR RENT", EVERYTHING HERE IS FOR RENT.

The only exception should be adding the available dates for partial week rentals.

These rules are intended to make the Search feature more efficient and useful and are to your benefit, making it easier for people to find your rental.

ANY POSTINGS NOT COMPLYING WITH THESE RULES WILL BE REMOVED WITHOUT NOTICE.

This is now so many times, that my post are just taken off the rental by owners posts.
WHY???? Every time the same thing happens.
All weeks that I posted were for 2017 so why have they AGAIN been removed?
I have every right as all owners to post my weeks,
This is starting to look very strange indeed.

Olga,

None of your rental posts have been removed. When did you post them?

Olga,

This is why they were removed:

From the posting rules above:

When listing a rental, enter ONLY the week number, year and room type in the Subject line.
Example: "Week 20 2013 studio and days if a partial week". Do not use abbreviations, use the full word for "Week" and "room type" and use digits for the week number and year.
Do not list the room number in the subject

My listing that I thought was done properly for week 16 is gone.
I do it wrong?

Simply review the rules and post again.

It was there for several weeks.
I did follow the rules.
There were dozens of looks at it.
I have posted weeks before with no problems.
Who is monitoring these posts and removing them?
If someone removed it they should be able to go back and look at it.
And tell me what was wrong.
That is a terrible response.

I'm sorry, we do not track or save information regarding removed postings other than in log entries. The last ime a post by you was removed by an Administrator was in November of 2014 titled “Week 15 Room 305 Deluxe” written by PeterK. Postings are removed for one of three reasons, either failure to adhere to the posting rules or via automatic removal after 60 days online with no replies or 60 days after the last reply or posting in the wrong forum.

Again, my recommendation is to re-post after reviewing the rules.

I am one of two Board Administrators who monitor and enforce the rules when appropriate.

I apologize for being abrupt.
You actually answered my question in your last reply.
The post was done in November.
It must have automatically been removed after 60 days.
thank you.
